Wow! I can't believe we are here again, 9 years in a row, giving hope to those who may not have much. I'm still very proud to say that after all these years I'm a huge fan not only of your night job but what you do during the day, reminding us that ONE man or woman can make a difference. I know that my donation may not be much, but I know it will mean a whole heck of a lot more to those who have little or nothing at all. Every little bit helps. So even when things look like they are stacked up against me as far as me keeping my job or not, it won't stop me from giving. Because I know the more we give, the more we shall receive.

Please continue what you're doing! Yes, some people may not like the reminders of Africa at your shows, but I say keep on keeping on! You changed my life for the better and helped me see things differently, and made me give more than I should. Thank you.

I know and follow U2 for more than 20 years, But I began to know the band by you. I was very angry to everything in this period, I believed not at all and especially not in the Mankind. I was very wild, in perpetual conflict with everything and avoided people at most.
Then a girl said to me that I was wrong and that there were still people indeed, people who fight for good causes and who take advantage of the fame to put it for the benefit of people who more need it. She gave me your example and quoted me some major songs of U2. The next day, she lent me War and JT by encouraging me to read the lyrics.
I was very impressed and wanted to know more. Today, more than 20 years later, I still stay
so impressed and tries to support you and to help you, at a lesser level, as much as I can.

It is one of the clearest examples of how YOU inspire us to be better people.
