Project Summary

Wells and latrines were constructed through this
project to reduce disease among the inhabitants of six communities, including schoolchildren.
“It is obvious that this safe and hygienic toilet facility provided by the Africare and African Well Fund through Oasis Foundation will make the school a conducive place, frequent reports of stomach troubles and diarrhea cases will reduce, if not [be] completely eradicated,”
said Mas-ud Yakubu Bawa, head teacher of Sabena Municipal Assembly Primary School, one project site.
