Chip Grizzard, CEO of Grizzard Communications Group, an Atlanta-based marketing and fundraising agency specializing in the nonprofit community, recently made a $1,000 donation to the African Well Fund in honor of one of his employees, AWF board member Lara Wineman. Grizzard presented Wineman with the check at the company’s quarterly meeting, a moment captured on video that can be viewed here.
“If you can get involved in something like African Well Fund, something that really inspires you and has meaning it can change your life,” Grizzard said. “I am so impressed with this compassion and commitment and, more than anything, passion.
“You have stepped up and you have done something unbelievable to help hundreds of thousands of people … that’s awesome, you’ve given life, it’s clearly making a difference,” he said. “So I’m proud to help with the next build and I would like to make a donation of $1,000 in honor of you to the African Well Fund to support and help promote and keep your vision going and build more wells and help more people.”

Wineman thanked Grizzard for his donation at the meeting.
“Even if you don’t have money to donate, which I do not much of the time, I still think it’s just as important to donate my time and talents because water gives life, water is life,” she said.
