African Well Fund volunteers in Southern California celebrated World Environment Day on June 4th with a benefit event at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. The event raised more than $1000!
The event featured acoustic sets by Ground Score and Dave Joyce as well as a solo performance by African dancer, Makhosazana Fletcher. Representatives from Invisible Children spoke at the event as did African Well Fund Vice Chairman Elizabeth Beech.
Items that were not auctioned off during the event will be available soon on eBay. All proceeds from the sale of these donated items will be donated to the African Well Fund. Check back soon for details.
