Though it’s been some time since we have posted here, our work and mission continued throughout 2020.
Despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, we were able to fund and implement a well project in Nsiama, Congo. The project was completed in September and since that time has been providing clean water to the community’s 2500 residents. The well is managed by a community committee and also provides water for the primary school. The project was funded by the proceeds of our 2020 Build a Well for Bono’s Birthday campaign combined with previously received donations. In the coming months, we’ll provide more stories from Nsiama about the impact the well has had on life there. We, along with the residents of Nsiama, thank all the donors who made this project possible.
